All Weather, Inc.’s AWOS 3000 Approved by the FAA

Sacramento, CA (May 5, 2011) – All Weather, Inc. (AWI), a leading manufacturer of weather information systems and meteorological sensors, has certified the new AWOS 3000 Central Data Platform (CDP) for use with all of AWI’s AWOS configurations.

The mini-rack enclosed AWOS 3000 CDP consists of the central processing computer, a high resolution display with keyboard and mouse, VHF ground to air radio, wireless data radio, telephone modem, UPS, and speakers, all in one convenient unit.  The CDP recieves information from the AWOS and displays this accurate, current weather data on a high resolution screen.  Various remote display options are available, and a voice output is available using the included speakers.  Combining all the FAA required elements into a compact, lockable rack solution saves precious office space and offers easy installation and maintenance.

The AWOS 3000 has been certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), meeting all the regulatory requirements of the latest FAA Advisory Circular.  The AWOS 3000 is also certified for interface with the National Airspace Data Interchange Network (NADIN) and the AWOS Data Acquisition System (ADAS).

The CDP sofware provides a user-friendly interactive menu system to configure and operate the AWOS.  With the click of a mouse, the user can customize the system’s operation or access nested menus containing data archives and system maintenance controls.

Incorporating years of experience in aviation technology, AWI has developed the AWOS 3000 CDP to be the perfect solution for any size airport or heliport.
