China Civil Aviation Administration Tours US

Hunt Valley, MD (February 28, 2005) — All Weather, Inc. hosted the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) this month as part of a tour that is crossing the US. Thirty-one state officials and engineers from across China are meeting with FAA officials and the National Weather Service (NWS) across the country to learn more about aviation weather observations and systems. The CAAC is also promoting cooperative opportunities with US companies.

The visit to AWI was to learn more about the company's AWOS aviation weather systems and high accuracy meteorological sensors. China will be adding facilities to support the upcoming Olympic games. In addition, several smaller, regional airports will be adding AWOS instrumentation to support local operations.

The CAAC group was made up of officials and engineers from the different regional traffic bureaus across China.
