Sacramento, CA (July 15, 2003) — The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
ACE-IDS program office has authorized
All Weather Inc., to install their Integrated Display System (IDS) into the
new Boston Consolidated TRACON and satellite facilities ACE-IDS
is an integrated display system that displays information such as weather
data, runway visual range (RVR), ASOS data, LLWAS, altimeter, NOTAMs, approach
plates and more than 100 million pages of user configurable data. ACE-IDS
is a LAN/WAN-based network using a 20-inch touch screen to provide controllers
with real time access to time-sensitive information. Boston TRACON is the
eighth FAA facility to have
the advanced multi-functional system installed to streamline controller workload
and increase operational safety.
