Colombian Airports Install All Weather, Inc. AWOS Systems

Sacramento, CA (November 3, 2010) – All Weather, Inc. (AWI), a leading manufacturer of weather information systems and meteorological sensors, has provided several airports in the country of Colombia with the latest generation of AWOS systems. AWI is working with Aeronautica in Colombia to provide these systems to the civilian airport market.

The AWOS systems deployed by AWI are complainant with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and produces voice outputs in the native language of Spanish. “AWI has provided a number of systems to both civil and military customers in the country of Colombia, and we have continued to enhance our AWOS solution to meet the needs of this emerging aviation market,” said Steve Glander, International Sales Manager for AWI.

Included in AWI’s AWOS offering are sensors for measuring wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity, rainfall, barometric pressure, lightning detection, present weather, cloud height, and AWI’s dual-technology visibility sensor.
