All Weather, Inc. Awarded Major Contract for ADS-B Weather Systems

Sacramento, CA (March 13, 2008)All Weather, Inc., a leading manufacturer of accurate, highly dependable, automated weather information systems and meteorological sensors, today announced that the company has been selected by ITT Corporation to supply 62 Automated Weather Observing Systems (AWOS) as part of ITT’s ADS-B contract with the FAA. AWI’s participation with ITT is valued at $45.5 million.

AWI will provide turn key installation of 37 FAA Certified AWOS systems to be located on oil drilling platforms in the Gulf of Mexico and an additional 25 AWOS systems to be located at various sites in Alaska. AWI’s effort includes site surveys, engineering, production, and installation over the next three years, and maintenance of the systems for 15 years.

Mr. Mike Gable, ITT Director of Implementation for ADS-B said of the selection, “We are pleased to announce that we have selected All Weather, Inc as our AWOS supplier.  The deployment of the expanded AWOS capabilities in the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska are key program events and AWI’s experience and expertise in both regions will help to ensure that we meet our obligations to our customer and the aviation community.”

Don Soenen, Chairman and CEO of AWI stated, “This is a major achievement for AWI, we have been manufacturing AWOS systems since our initial contract to supply 190 systems to the FAA in 1987.  This is an indication of the quality of our AWOS systems and our acknowledged expertise in this field.”

AWI has appointed Mr. Wil Marsh as Program Manager for the project; he will be responsible for the day to day operation of the effort. “This is an important program for AWI.  Everyone at AWI is excited by this and we are confident in our ability to provide state-of-the-art AWOS systems while meeting the aggressive deployment schedule”, said Mr. Marsh.

Jason Hall, recently appointed as the President and COO of AWI, was also enthusiastic in his response to the selection. “Being selected for such an important program by ITT is a great compliment to AWI.”
