All Weather, Inc. provides 52 Automated Weather Observing Systems to the Canadian Department of National Defense

Sacramento, CA (May 3, 2013)—All Weather, Inc. (AWI), a preferred development partner of the FAA, has be chosen to supply Canada’s Department of National Defense (DND) with 52 Automated Weather Observing Systems (AWOS).

Phase 1 of this program includes delivery and installation of four key systems as well as management of certified training courses for key personnel within the Canadian Forces.  Phase 2 will include manufacturing and installation of the remaining 48 systems which constitute the whole of the Canadian Forces AWOS network.  Throughout both phases, AWI will provide key support in areas of logistics, training, and program management.

The systems developed for this program provide information to the REDDS, NWS, and CFWOS interfaces as well as local user displays.  The completion of this program will enable military domestic flight operations as well as NORAD continental defense operations and training.
