AWI was the prime contractor for such distinguished projects as the NWS’s ASOS and the FAA's ACE-IDS programs. AWI is currently the prime contractor on a number of mission critical programs including the NIDS air traffic control display system and the Canadian DND AWOS. In addition, our expertise developed the Runway Visual Range (RVR) systems for Transport Canada, the VWOS periscope based system for the South Korean military, as well as numerous programs throughout the Far East and Americas.
AWI has installed over 1,700 high-end automated weather systems around the globe, working with such leading authorities as the US National Weather Service, FAA, US Air Force, GE, ExxonMobil, Cerrejón Coal, and INFRAERO (Brazil). Our systems meet the strict standards of the FAA, International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and World Meteorological Organization (WMO).
Likewise, AWI has installed nearly 1,000 Air Traffic Control Systems for the FAA as well as foreign governments and militaries in locations including Uruguay, UAE, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Chile, and Kuwait. Our air traffic control systems are custom integrated to meet the needs to of the local aviation authorities. The interfaces to local systems are included in the system along with the visual components needed to tie operations together.

The management nucleus boasts over 80 combined years in weather technology, computer based optical and image process development, and applications engineering.
Barbara Baca has been in Sales & Marketing for the majority of her career, with more than a decade of that specializing in the aviation industry. Her sales experience has included all aspects of the AWOS sales cycle as well as development of customized weather monitoring systems. Barbara’s extensive knowledge of the AWOS industry combined with her understanding of airport needs, has led to advancements in AWOS equipment and technology, as well as improvements in operations for airfields using AWI equipment.
In addition to Barbara’s sales and marketing experience, she has a very strong customer service background. This combination of skills has enabled Barbara to successfully implement not only independent weather systems throughout the nation, but large-scale state and federal projects as well.
With over 20 years of experience developing high performance solutions, Neal Dillman has a wide variety of experience in technology engineering. Prior to his tenure at All Weather, Inc., Neal provided architecture and design for a number of cutting edge systems, including Hewlett-Packard's manufacturing software, network optimization for NEC, messaging and security systems for Morgan Stanley, and network analysis for Travelers Insurance.
He has also consulted on projects for numerous high-profile companies such as the Securities Industry Automation Corporation, National Securities Clearing Corporation, National Bank of Canada, MFS Intelenet, Tandem, and Signet Reinsurance. As an active pilot, Neal is focused on extending AWI's work to improve air safety. Neal is also a board member of the non-profit Friends of the U. C. Davis Airport, and he is active with Angel Flight as the Sacramento Area Leader and a Command Pilot.
Steve Glander has nearly 24 years' experience in software development, systems design, and sales within the aviation industry. The latter half has been directly related to meteorological systems and sensors, engineering, and sales. Steve has been involved with international systems sales now for several years, placing valuable AWOS systems in locations such as Brazil, Egypt, Afghanistan, and Cape Verde, to name a few. Holding a commercial pilot's license for the last 14 years has also provided valuable insight into the design and functionality of AWOS systems to meet better the needs of aviation and meteorological professionals.
Prior to entering into the meteorological sensors market, Steve was Chief Technical Officer for Eisenlohr Technologies, which was responsible for the design and development of handheld electronic instruments for surgeons. Specifically, the revolutionary X-Caliper device, designed to make accurate measurements and calibrations on standard x-ray films. Mr. Glander received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management degree, with a minor in Computer Science, from Indiana University in 1984.
Bob Perrin graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1990. He has designed a wide array of scientific instrumentation for the food science and agronomy markets. Bob was the principal electrical engineer on a certified Class 1, Division 1 workstation design.
He co-authored the book Embedded Systems Design using the Rabbit 3000 Microprocessor: Interfacing, Networking, and Application Development, and he has published more than 20 technical articles during his career. Bob managed the Test Engineering group at Z-World, the Hardware Design group at Captus Networks, and the Engineering team at All Weather, Inc.
Adam Thomas brings over 24 years of successful leadership experience in Manufacturing and Operations Management to All Weather, Inc. Adam possesses a strong background of implementing LEAN and other leading edge concepts in various industries. He also enjoys substantial experience in high and low mix manufacturing models.
Adam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Santa Clara University and a Masters of Business Administration degree with honors in Operations Management from Golden Gate University. He has also attained CPIM and CIRM certifications through the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).
Before joining All Weather, Inc. Adam was a senior manager at Intel Corporation where he worked for the past 13 years. Prior to this, he held leadership positions in the subcontract assembly, semiconductor and depot repair industries.
